Salvatore Velardi, known as Artedelsoffio, is a contemporary Sicilian artist active for over ten years, whose artistic exploration stems from a profound connection with the Mediterranean land, with the wind, with silence, and with those inner scars that time does not erase but transforms.

His art takes shape from an intense human journey, marked by sacrifices, departures, returns, lost passions, and rediscovered truths. After artistic experiences in galleries, events, and international contexts, including Milan Art & Fashion Week at UNA Hotels, Art 3F Paris, and Art Designer, returning to his homeland represented much more than a geographical choice: it was a return to his roots, to memory, and to his most authentic self.

In his artistic language, strength and vulnerability coexist. Artedelsoffio's works tell of inner storms, sudden rebirths, and that continuous search for light that crosses every human being. Matter, energy, and spirituality intertwine in intense compositions, where the Mediterranean becomes a symbol of freedom, healing, and transformation.

Behind his creative journey there is also a personal battle that profoundly changed his way of looking at the world: the fight against leukemia. An experience that did not extinguish his vision, but made it even more vivid, more aware, and closer to the essential. From that journey emerges a strong spiritual dimension, experienced as a continuous dialogue with God, with life, and with the deepest meaning of existence.

For Artedelsoffio, painting is not just about creating images, but about leaving emotional traces capable of speaking even to those who observe in silence. Each work holds an invisible tension between pain and rebirth, between loss and hope, as if behind every canvas there was a story not yet fully told.

His artistic production is available online through his website and dedicated social media channels, and is also included in the Mondadori – Contemporary Art Catalog (60th edition). In 2024, he also donated two works for a charity fundraiser dedicated to the fight against cancer and AIDS, transforming art into a concrete gesture of support and human closeness.
